Jasmine’s dresser has lots of clutter, but each object holds its own importance. Most things evoke fond memories of good friends and happy times. But Jasmine also keeps a glossy photo of her father in the mix just to remind herself that who created you does not define who you become.

This oversized tee shirt is one of the few things Jasmine owns that was once her father’s. The shirt itself is soft and comfy, but the thought of being enveloped in her dad’s memory creates a rigid mental straight jacket.

Jasmine’s father died in this garage. Instantly upon viewing, anyone could feel the disturbing energy this place harbors. Everything about this environment is slightly off-kilter, creating uncomfortable tensions and anxiety.

Here, Jasmine is holding a 15 year old bottle of fingernail polish. When he was still alive, Jasmine’s father had no clue how to connect to his daughter. However, he knew that she loved PowerPuff Girls and Jessie the Cowgirl form Toy Story. Any gift he ever got her fell into one of those two themes.
